2015 Custom Baseball Card Set – Buster Posey #1

After coming across a blog I was familiar with from the past, I decided it was time to start my 2015 Custom Baseball Card collection. The blog is The Writer’s Journey by Jason Carter and although he blogs about many topics, his custom baseball cards are some of my favorites. So in deciding who would be the first the player featured in my Custom Baseball Card 2015 set, it was a fairly easy decision – the San Francisco Giants’ Buster Posey. Posey has been one of my favorite players to watch since his Rookie of the Year campaign in 2010. Since then he has won the Most Valuable Player Award (2012), National League Comeback Player of the Year Award (2012), voted to two All-Star teams (2012 and 2013), and won the Silver Slugger Award twice (2012 and 2014). Add to that three World Series appearances and three World Series rings in 2010, 2012, and 2014, you can say he has had a great start to his baseball career.

Awards and Accolades
Golden Spikes Award (2008)
World Series Champion (2010, 2012, 2014)
NL Rookie of the Year (2010)
All Star (2012, 2013)
Silver Slugger Award Winner (2012, 2014)
NL Comeback Player of the Year Award (2012)
NL Hank Aaron Award Winner (2012)
NL MVP (2012)
Willie Mac Award (2012)
